Hello My name is Shaun Beer I am married with two children and I live in Mexborough, South Yorkshire.		I first started out with budgerigars for a short period in 1989 but as often happens as a young man other pastimes took over.
*If I could presume to offer advice in my short time in budgerigars it would be be the following.* *Buy only from two or three fanciers and only if their birds were distantly related to each others.*	But when the budgie bug bites it is very difficult to get rid off. I came back to budgies in 1999 and promptly joined the B.S and my local club Doncaster B.S. Make your own mistakes not other peoples also enjoy the fancy for what it is - not what others might make it.	*I originally made the common mistake in that I bought my stock from here there and everywhere, a road that brought me only limited success.* *I quickly realised that this was not the way forward.*
